Did you have a really great project during the last club year (2016-2017)? Well, now it is time to share your success through the Golden West Region Soroptimists Celebrating Success Award Program.  Why take the time to revisit last year?  Here are some good reasons:

• Showcase the efforts and achievements of your club
• Share your creative ideas with other Soroptimists
• Inspire other region clubs to implement their own version of your project
• Demonstrate the Collective Impact of our organization
• Receive well-deserved glory and honor if your project is selected as one of the top three GWR entries in each Pillar area (fundraising, membership, program, and public awareness)

Don’t wait another minute.  Download the 2016-2017 entry form and instructions from the GWR website!  Submit a form for everything you do so we can celebrate the GWR collective impact.  Yes, multiple entries in each Pillar area are highly encouraged!  We no longer use Program Focus Reports so this is our tracking system for all you do!  All entries are due by September 30, 2017. 

The region will judge the entries and announce the three top 2016-2017 projects in each pillar area in January 2018.  The announcement of the first place GWR project in each pillar area will be made during the GWR Spring Conference in June 2018.   Clubs with “winning projects” will be asked to provide a poster display at spring conference to share project details and outcomes with conference attendees, and may be asked to participate in a workshop to share information about their project.  The first place GWR project entries will be submitted to SIA for further judging.  The four overall federation-level best project winners will be announced at the SIA Governor’s Roundtable in Summer, 2018.
